What protein target is shown?

Daily protein ≈ body weight (kg) × grams per kg, with positive weight and a grams/kg factor capped in code (typical coaching ranges). Not individualized medical nutrition.

Does the decimal separator matter?

This calculator uses plain decimal numbers. If a result looks wrong, check whether you used a comma instead of a dot (or vice versa) where the field expects one.
