°F and mph

Air temperature (°F) and wind speed (mph)—NWS-style wind chill when inputs are in valid range.

FAQ

What units and formula are used?

Air temperature in °F and wind speed in mph. For wind < 3 mph the page returns the air temperature as an approximation. Otherwise it uses the common NOAA‑style wind‑chill polynomial with v^0.16. Inputs outside the script’s stated bounds are rejected.

Does the decimal separator matter?

This calculator uses plain decimal numbers. If a result looks wrong, check whether you used a comma instead of a dot (or vice versa) where the field expects one.
