Liters × price per liter

Consumption in L/100 km, trip distance in km, fuel price per liter—total fuel cost (any currency).

FAQ

How are liters burned and trip cost linked?

Trip distance is in kilometers, consumption is liters per 100 km (L/100km), and fuel price is per liter (all non‑negative). Liters used = (distance ÷ 100) × L/100km; cost = liters × price per liter. Traffic detours and idle burn are not modeled.

What does this estimate leave out?
