Are the conversions exact inverses?

°F = °C×9/5 + 32; °C = (°F − 32)×5/9. Results are shown to two decimals—rounding can make a round‑trip differ slightly in the last digit.

Does the decimal separator matter?

This calculator uses plain decimal numbers. If a result looks wrong, check whether you used a comma instead of a dot (or vice versa) where the field expects one.
